World Maternal Mental Health Day

Bee Happy Babies LLP is delighted to partner with Improving me, NHS Cheshire and Merseyside Women’s Health and Maternity Programme for World Maternal Mental Health Day to deliver a workforce development opportunity for staff and a highly accessible introduction to baby massage for parents.

We will be running a free online baby massage session 12.00-12.30 BST for families with babies from 8 weeks and older. This session will provide the basic principles of baby massage, key massage techniques and an introduction to tummy time. These sessions can be streamed at home or at family hubs and other locations marking World Maternal Mental Health Day. The session can be accessed via Google Meet https://meet.google.com/cjh-xtdd-wdr

We will also be live on Instagram 19.00 BST for healthcare and social care workers. This session will provide an overview of what baby massage is and how it can support maternal mental health. This session is suitable for anyone working with families with babies.

Bee Happy Babies is passionate about giving babies and their families the best start possible and believes everyone should have the opportunity to learn baby massage. Baby massage is a wonderful way to support bonding and attachment, typical development and increase parental confidence. Not only that, but baby massage has a wide range of other benefits such as reducing maternal depression, improving sleep and improving weight gain.
